Hi, I’m Tall Paul welcome to ThePartyTips.com, your weekly resource for party tips, tricks, tools, and anything else that will make sure you have the best event ever. Today, I’m going to show you a real secret of Magic the trick that actually got me into magic the cups and balls.
So I’m going to show you how to do the trick and I’m going to show you how where to get some equipment for the trick. You can even use things you find around the house. I also have a special guest today, my little cousin is 8 years old and I taught him how to do it. So he is going to show you the trick is well, Anyway, enjoy and here we go the Cubs and Balls.
To do this trick you need three cups and four balls. Start off put a cup inside a cup and drop a ball inside. Stack the last cup on top and put the other three balls inside and you’re ready to go.
Pick up the stack of three cups, keeping the mouth towards you, dump the three balls on to the table.
Place the three cups in a row, mouth down on the table. Be careful not to expose the extra ball inside.
Put one of the balls on top of a cup, then stack the other two cups on top. Make your magical gesture and lift all three cups to reveal the ball underneath.
You are now set up to do it again. Do the same thing but this time place the cup with the hidden ball over the ball that already appeared to pass through the first cup. Make your magical gesture and show the second ball passed through the bottom of the cup.
The only difference with the third ball is, you place it in your pocket and pretend to magically put it under the cups. You end clean and everything can be examined.

If you’re on a budget, you can use cups you find around the house or Styrofoam cups. Anything that will stack. For the balls, you can use the pompoms like I did in this video or ypu can crumble up some paper. Even cotton balls will work, as long as they all look the same.
